Season Preview: Marco Sturm

The Bruins will basically be adding another top six forward this season, with the return of Marco Sturm.  The streaky winger missed majority of last season with a knee injury.  Sturm has played extremely well with Patrice Bergeron in the past, and he may be reunited with the center this season.  Sturm has scored 20+ goals in almost every season he has been in the league, and if he can regain his form, Sturm could score 30+ goals in this offense.

Sturm should see a lot of powerplay time and take the role of Mark Recchi on one of the PP units.  Cam Neely said Sturm could score 50 goals last year, and while he may not pot 50, he could pot 30.

Projected Stats:  31 g, 23 a, 54 pts.
