PRETTY BOLD PREDICTIONS. I cannot for the life of me see the B’s finishing as Eastern Conference champs or Stanley Cup champions. Teams will be up for the B’s this season and the B’s will not sneak up on anyone. Moreover, I do not think it is possible for Thomas to duplicate last season’s effort and Rask is yet an unproven commodity at the NHL level. Despite their pre-season record of 5-2-1, the B’s in the 5 games that I saw did not impress me with respect to their intensity level. To me they were much too much complacent. Perhaps things change come opening night, I sincerely hope so. Playing the way they have been and seeing that Washington, Carolina & Anaheim are the first 3 games, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 0-3-0 start. Honestly though folks, I can only see the B’s getting 97 points this season which should garner them top spot in the Northeast and 3rd in the conference. The B’s must ratchet up the intensity level and outwork their opponent every night.

PS – I never thought I would ever say this, but the Leafs sure do look impressive.

Honestly Poppy Goose, I would mind not seeing you post here ever again with your wonderfully pessimistic and overly shallow assesment of pre-season play.

And you follow up all that fodder with a compliment to the Leafs…..

You make me sick, your stupid, and fuck off.

    Bruins rule.
