Practice lines from today

Sturm-Bergeron-Recchi

Lucic-Krejci-Satan

Sobotka-Savard-Ryder

Paille-Begin-Wheeler

Marchand-Whitfield-Thornton

Marc Savard skated on the third line today, a possible indication that he may play in game 1.  Good decision by Julien to keep Sobotka, who has outplayed a vast majority of the Bruins forwards this series, in the top 9. Blake Wheeler, who has been invisible all series, was dropped to the fourth line.

I like it but one thing: who the fuck invited Trent Whitfield? It might be wise to sit Sturm a game to get him hungry (a la Kessel two years ago), but Whitfield?

    • Bruins says:

lol nevermind I skipped over the BErgie line. All is good in the world.

      • Jefe77 says:

Exactly. Providence is out, so we need people skating and staying in game shape. Who knows! Trent Whitfield could score the Cup winning goal….

  2. Bruins says:

Seguin wins the Most Outstanding Player award in the OHL, just beating out Hall, while Hall scores the OT winner in the first game of the OHL finals, and will undoubtedly be the playoff MVP for the second straight time should Windsor beat Barrie. He has 15 goals and 14 assists in 16 games so far.

    Jackpot.

    • Bruins says:

Also for Hall he has recorded at least a point in all 16 playoff games. If regular season is included he’s on a 24 game point streak, and has at least a point in 43 of the last 44 games. Wow.

      • pearson says:

the oilers need a center to go with all those talented wingers they have… i think they take seguin.

which is good. we want hall.
