Let’s go B’s! Let’s come out strong and take these 2pts!!

  2. N.Horton18 says:

do we still have jordan knackstedt? why hasnt he been called up?

  3. Bruins says:

    Is Caron out too?

  4. dookie says:

The Bruins need to bust out of their ‘can’t score the first goal’ flu and take it to them physically today!!

  5. Bruins says:

Lol Rask is gonna have like a 1-40 record this year while still getting over a .930 save %.

  6. willisss says:

Wow, offsides much? Another case of bad luck for tuukka

  7. Bruins says:

    Worst. Game. Ever.

  8. Gcole says:

Alrighty then I’m going back to watching the eagles and bears. Fucking bruins… 😦

  9. Bruins says:

Wooooo 2 for 2 PK baby!

  10. Neely8 says:

U guys are pathetic losers, ur still watching? I turned it off at 2-0!! This team is a fucking joke! End of story!

  11. Bruins says:

Wahlstrom is back for the Mini 1-on-1? This should be the best part of the night.

  12. dookie says:

The Bruins are in a world of shit right now. Where the hell is the emotion and pride? I guess they are not tired of playing like crap yet? C’mon!! If you are going to lose, at least lose with pride & dignity!! Not this ‘woe is me’, ‘I don’t care attitude’!!

  13. gibbz says:

bbbbbulllshit. i’m 15 and it seems like my team could kick the bruins’ asses

  14. gibbz says:

    wahlstrom pulls of the datsyuk!

  15. Bruins says:

Wahlstrom goes 3 for 3 and pulls the Datsyuk on his last attempt. This kid is fucking MONEY.

  16. moast says:

Theres not much left to really say about this team. No heart, no passion and definately not hard to play against. Chiarelli needs to make a move….Chemistry….what fucking chemistry. So sick of this. Claude isn’t doing everything to get them playing. “Oh well we have no Krejci” He hasn’t done shit since hes been back. Lucic and Horton should sit in the pressbox and watch Buflugien, now thats a power forward. This is painful….D is horible, forwards are invisible, Coach ain’t getting mad at them. The BEST player on the Bruins is Marchand….now that nuff said! Pathetic……wonde if Whalstrom wants to play?

    • Bruins says:

The Arniel-Campbell-Marchand line actually looked pretty decent, but that was the only positive this period.

      But yeah, sign Wahlstrom.

  17. gibbz says:

    .wahlstrom pulls of the datsyuk!

  18. Gcole says:

If you guys wanna see a good game watch the eagles and bears haha

  19. Bruins says:

Hunwick just gained some respect in my book.

  20. willisss says:

I’m buying a matt hunwick jersey

  21. Ward says:

  22. Bruins says:

Do they really need to go down 3-0 every game to remind them they’re in a game?

  23. moast says:

Why do I watch these guys….all I do is get mad while I am extremely bored. Heres a question:
What trade would help this team the most?

Gone: Wheeler, Hunwick, Ryder TO Edmonton
    For: Hemsky (EDM)

Gone: Ference, Paille, TOR 1st, BOS 1st
    For: Yandle, Prospects, Picks

    Lucic Savard Horton
    Hemsky Krejci Seguin
    Sturm Bergeron Recchi
    Marchand Campbell Campbell
    Caron 13th

    Chara Boychuk
    Seidenberg Yandle
    Stuart McQuaid
    Bartkowski/Alexandrov 7th

    Thomas Rask

Not sure if this would work cap wise.
I doubt the trading teams would do it but there is a plethora of picks and prospects to work with that teams love.
Solidify the D, tightent up the lines and leave alone (barring injury) and get the goalies more confident.

I beleive with this team, Eastern/Stanley Cup Finals

    • moast says:

      *Marchand Campbell Thornton

    • willisss says:

Dude, thank god your not the gm

      • moast says:

How do your figure? You have to pay for talent. The D on the B’s are weak. People keep refering to there rankings about gaa and shit like that. The only reason that they are tops in those “defensive” categories is because of the system and the goalies. Imagine the B’s with a top four of Chara Boychuk Yandle Seidenberg
Would be nice and yes, I would pay two firsts to get him and get rid of Ference and Paille. How else are you going to get a stud D-man?

    • TheBellEnd says:

Ference, Paille, AND 2 Firsts???…what in good god FUCK are you smoking, man…

  24. zamer says:

this team has no balls, other teams are bigger and faster and know our defence is weak.and with savard comingback then sturm players are wondering how will it be.

  25. gibbz says:

i keep hearing “the bruins need to learn to come out strong, and play with passion”

they are professional hockey players for fucksakes. they should only be building chemistry, and not learning how to score goals or play from the puckdrop. they need to stop dicking around.

i think it’s time for a trade. c’mon PC shake things up a bit, and while you’re at it make room for savvy and sturm. maybe Claude could do a few healthy scratches? it seemed everyone played 110% when paille was on the shelf, because they were threatened by paille taking their spot in the lineup.

  26. Bruins says:

At least Toronto is still stinking up the joint. We’re on pace to pick 5th right now, and there looks to be a really solid top 5 in the draft at this point:

Adam Larsson, Sean Couturier, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Gabriel Landeskog, Ryan Murphy

  27. bruins4eva says:

there is one word that this team needs right now….and thats intensity… everything comes from intensity, hitting shooting passing, bring the intensity….like lucic actually hitting someone…not just him the whole team

  28. pearson says:

theres going to be trades to get savard back. i say go for something NOW. it would give this team a solid smack.

i would target the islanders. god knows they need offense, and theyve got a TON of guys that are nearing NHL readiness.

maybe, wheeler and ryder for travis hamonic and rhett rahkshani (kids are gonna be money)

  29. Birdman2403 says:

Hard to believe the Bruins have cap issues. Waste of money to this point ! No life …no nothing ! Julien needs to think outside the fucking box for once. Throw Seguin with Lucic and Horton. Hey Claude, Tyler Seguin scores points he’s not a fucking grinder !

Fuck this team drive’s me nuts !

  30. Haus says:

I would like to see whatever deals Chiarelli said are ready to pop when Savard and Sturm are ready happen now. Get all the questions and distractions of who stays and who goes out of the locker room NOW. Ever since Savvy and Sturm have been practising/skating the chemistry of the team on game nights has gone to shit. Make the deals, stabilise the room, and get back to consistent hockey for Christ sakes.

  31. Haus says:

And…… Lucic and Marchand need to switch lines for a bit. Looch needs a fire lit under his ass, terrible the last 2 weeks. Let him and Thorts fight back-to-backers like they did when he was a rookie. Looch was a disinterested turnover machine today, became a liability on the top line. Not that he never belongs on a top line, just not until he rediscovers his game. Marchand on the other hand, deserves to be rewarded with top-line minutes. He has better hands than I thought. He and Wheeler have been the most consistent forwards over the last 5 games. Seemed like today the Bs played their best hockey after the fights. With any luck, they could have tied that game with the 4 or 5 shifts immediately after. Hunwick showed alot of heart in choosing a guy out of his weight class.

  32. Dookie says:

We are a below .500 team since early November. Before that we we lights out. A team does not lose its chemistry and drive overnight. Sure teams have slumps – but a 3 week slump in which practically everything except for the goaltending goes to hell in a handbag? There has to be a reason. If you trace back the timeline, IMHO the sloppy play and poor attitude coincides with the return of Savard to practice. There were rumors last year that he was a bad apple and prima donna in the dressing room. Moreover I recall something on the blog here that he was not Neely’s favorite either. Perhaps there is some truth to this assertion. The Bruins, to a man, are a helluva lot better than they are showing right now and if savvy is the root of that problem – then demote him, or trade him for a bucket of used pucks. The team is of prime importance and no one person is above that. We therefore may be better off without savard.

    • Jefe77 says:

That’s a pretty huge assumption, and doesn’t make any sense at all.

NHL teams don’t go on 3 week slumps, because their best player is practicing again.

Do Bruins fans really buy all the crap that people sell that ‘noone’ like Savvy?

Would PC sign him to a 7 year deal, with Cam Neely and the rest of the team bitching about him? Uh, no.

Sorry, your assessment is shallow and seems to reflect rumors, and I would like to know who your credible source is. A bucket of pucks? You have been watching Bruins hockey the last few years, haven’t you?

Everyone knows the team is facing a trade. It can’t help chemistry knowing that, and IMO after the trade is complete players will start to relax again, and play how they should.

  33. Haus says:

Dookie, I dont think thats why. Its not like he hasnt been in town or around the team the whole time. Its probably more the fact that very shortly the team will change, guys will be gone, and no one knows who. That can have a great de-stabilising effect on a group thats been together for a few years. Dont get me wrong, maybe trading Savard would be the most prudent thing to do (I know, if you look in the archives I was dead set against it). You cant demote him, hes on a one-way so he would have to clear waivers. Waive him and someone can get him for nothing, and thats just stupid business sense. Any trade of Savard better yield quality in the form of high picks, or a puck moving D-man.

  34. Andy says:

Same old BS with the bruins need some guys with hearts Crash the net do some more face wash SHOW MORE EMOTIONS

    • Jefe77 says:

The Bruins have been showing emotion. They have actually played some good hockey in stretches, but with flat starts and offensive chemistry just isn’t there. The PP is ineffective without Savvy or Krecji.

Neely8, please don’t ever post here again. Were true Bruins fans here; go watch whatever sports team is currently winning all their games.

  35. Haus says:

I bet Neely8 is actually Kessels bro or Et le But.

  36. Haus says:

Good to see you back, Jefe.

    • Jefe77 says:

Thanks, I can finally breathe again. Just finished up work that was 75+ hrs a week for almost 13 months.

Lets hope this all coincides with the Bruins getting back to playing how they can.

  37. ryan says:

    bruins make a trade *****************************

  38. ryan says:

    have an inside source

  39. Haus says:

Supposedly he posted it on his facebook.

  40. Gcole says:

Who the fuck is Colby Cohen??

  41. Haus says:

Kid who played at Boston U. Solid D prospect, first year pro who played 3 games with the Avs this year. Hes got a cannon for a shot, I watched him tear up the local Hockey East team last year.

  42. Haus says:

Hunwick to Colorado for Cohen. Not sure if anything else involved. Conference call scheduled for 645.

  43. Haus says:

    Straight trade.

  44. Haus says:

Local sports channel saying Savard will be in the lineup Thursday.

    • Jefe77 says:

That would be great, not sure if he is really ready but man o man would that make me happy.

Sucks to see Hunwick go, I actually really liked what he brought but I think the Bruins know that they need a true #2 D man if they are going to win the Cup anytime soon.

Lets face it, Seidenberg is great, and so is Stu, but they aren’t true #2s.

With McQuaid around, they can shore up another trade in the long run, maybe more towards the deadline this season or next.

  45. moast says:

Love the trade! One of the weakest links gone and a promising Dman + enough cap space to get Savvy back.
Nice move Chia….this also gets me thinking that there may be a larger move down the road to get a guy like Yandle as Hunwick was the closest to a PMD that they had.
To all of the Hunwick lovers out there, McQuaid will fill his spot and then some.
Nice fight Hunwick but it wasn’t meant to be.
