Chara hit was not dirty at all he took the player to the boards,its not like he looked at the corner foamed pad and lineing him up to hit it.But because it was in fag city the refs fucked the call in the fear of the impact or what could happen.The bruins need to work on there game in there own zone,the game wasnt that great and tukka needs to get over about not being N 1 in net.This just my beef if savard was playing our PP would be better and would make Peverly and Ryder look good because our third line needs to score or we are fucked.

Look at when Richards drilled Krejci in the playoffs. Everyone was upset with it because it knocked Krejci out for the playoffs, but who had a problem with the hit itself? I don’t think any of us did, and how could you anyways? It was just a good hockey play. Chara should have gotten an interference call and nothing more.

Normally I would agree with what you are saying here but the factor is who the loss was against. I think we all can see the frustration the Bruins feel when they play the Habs.
Now everybody knows me on here as the eternal optimist, always seeing the silver lining in the dark cloud. Not today. Last nights game is the kind that creates a crisis in confidence, a feeling of no matter what you do, its still not enough. The Bruins play the Habs on March 24th. If Montreal wins that one too, it could be a short postseason.
I really don’t understand how we have so much trouble with them. We have winning records against everyone else in the East in the playoff picture but 1-3-1 vs. these smurfs, and the only win coming in a once in a lifetime gong show of a game? If you take out the Habs games this season, we’re first place, and absolutely dominating in goals against. They seemed to have solved both of our goalies when no one else in the league has.
Hopefully we don’t play them in the playoffs but if history is any indicator, we definitely will.
I honeslty think the emotional side of playing a game against the Canadiens thwarts the rest of our game. Like you said Bruins, we have winning records against almost everyone else except for them and we just can’t get it done on a consistent basis against the Habs. Am I saying tank the season? No, not in anyway. I’m not ready to jump off the proverbial wall street building here, I am however saying that we need to find a way to beat these guys on a consistent basis. If we play physical and get the Canadiens off of their game then we dominate, like the last game between the two, but if we sit back and let them come at us things go wrong.
I liked Tuukka getting the start. His last 4 starts have been unreal and Timmy doesn’t have a very good record against the Habs so I think CJ made the right statistical call there. Why go with a goalie whose been getting lit up by only that particular team play against that team? People back off of CJ he knows what he’s doing.
