Ryder scratched, Seguin back in

Michael Ryder is a healthy scratch for tonight’s game against the Blue Jackets. Tyler Seguin will skate in his spot on the third line. This will mark the first time Michael Ryder has been a healthy scratch since joining the Bruins. It also is something new from Claude Julien, who in his tenure with Boston, has never sat an underperforming veteran. He usually takes the easy way out and sits a rookie or second year player. If in fact Ryder is a healthy scratch and not suffering from an injury, then the thought is a good one and something that should have happened to other members of this team years ago.

Couples fight sometimes. I’m sure Julien and Ryder will work it out.

  2. Bruins says:

Seids with a couple really nice defensive plays on Nash.

  3. moast says:

Wow this team can be painful to watch lately.

  4. Bruins says:

I don’t know how Horton managed to do that. YOu just won’t see a bigger fail than that.

    Rask looked good.

    • moast says:

Rask did look good….couldn’t see that last one. All Horton had to do is hit the puck towards the net and he would have scored but he tried his dingle dangle and got burnt again.

  5. moast says:

Out scored, outshot, outplayed, must have forgot there compete level.

  6. Neely8 says:

Ever since that Pacioretty hit, The team has gone right down the toilet! This team is in big trouble if u ask me!

  7. ELWOPPO says:

Atta boy Chara! Keep it up! We need this win!

  8. bruins says:

    bruins need a coaching change..

  9. Haus says:

    Poor turnover Seidenberg

  10. Gcole says:

Why do the bruins suck so bad

  11. Haus says:

Gorgeous goal by Peverley. What a piece of stick-handling!

  12. Haus says:

    Fucking weak penalty.

  13. Bruins says:

Wooooooooow refs. Amazing goal by Pevs. I told you this guy was good.

  14. willisss says:

    Tuukka…..goddd damnnnnn dude, unreal

  15. Bruins says:

    Tuuk deserves this win.

  16. Bruins4eva says:

Seides has played like absolute dog shit in the last few games

  17. Haus says:

It seems to me the Bruins go as Bergy does. And Bergy hasn’t been himself lately. I can’t remember a 1on1 battle he has won tonight.

  18. Bruins says:

This officiating is unbelievably bad. 6 PPs for the Jackets, most on weak calls, 5 seconds for us.

  19. ELWOPPO says:

The Bruins defense are making the Blue jackets look like the Edmonton Oilers of the 80’s

  20. Gcole says:

    Nice one jack! Haha!!

  21. Bruins says:

    Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuk!

    Bergy’s was in anyways.

  22. Bruins says:

March 17 vs. Predators – Tuukka
March 19 vs. Leafs – Tuukka
March 22 vs. Devils – Timmy
March 24 vs. Canadiens – Tuukka
March 26 vs. Rangers – Tuukka
March 27 vs. Flyers – Timmy
March 29 vs. Blackhawks – Timmy
March 31 vs. Leafs – Tuukka
April 2 vs. Thrashers – Tuukka
April 4 vs. Rangers – Timmy
April 6 vs. Islanders – Tuukka
April 9 vs. Senators – Tuukka
April 10 vs. Devils – Timmy

8 games for Tuuka, 5 for Thomas. It would be nice to get Rask going, yet at the same time giving Thomas somewhat consistent starts in order to get keep him rested, but not rusty.

    • moast says:

I agree fully, that makes nothing but sence to me.
Tonights game proved that Rask is still a strong golie that will win you games. Give him more games and like you say Haus it will get him going.
Throw Thomas in start of playoffs and possibly play Rask here and there over 16 games…Rask will own those games. He’s been there and wants to play again. Managment should play this right as they have the goalies that can win you cups, steal games and break other teams offence down.

Come playoffs all that I can trust about this team is that they have the best tandem in the league and that at lest one line will contribute a night.

Finally, a place for Ryder on the team that helps….press box ! Ference comes back soon and Seidenberg can join him !! Maybe then he will remember how to play hockey !

Tuukka was VERY good tonight. Habs lost…..I’m going to bed a happy man !
