Bruins finally show some life

The Bruins pulled out a 4-1 victory tonight over the New Jersey Devils.  After a disappointing streak of games, the Bruins finally showed up and played a pretty solid overall game.  Milan Lucic scored his 30th goal of the season (who needs Kessel?) and Tim Thomas picked up his 30th victory of the year.  Zdeno Chara also snapped a terrible streak that the powerplay has been on.

Claude Julian has a big head!

  2. CCMGoalie says:

You know who I’ve been shitting on all season, for not being tough enough, impressed me tonight? Tyler Seguin. Kid played with an edge that we haven’t seen from him before and I, for one, liked it. A lot. He made himself a presence in the corners and along the boards.

Kaberle played much better tonight when compared to the last few games as well.

Horton had a solid game, seems like the games where he has a beef with at least one particular person (i.e. Subban, Tallinder, Subban, Subban) Yes all of those mentions of Subban were necessary. The guy plays tough when someone pisses him off. I hope Marchand kicks him in the shins with some steel toed boots that have a stamp of Subban’s name on the toes before every game.

  3. spencer70390 says:

I think Horton has done a great job of playing physically this year. He is a great fit on the right side with Looch and Krejci, and if he can find his scoring tough come playoff time, that will be one MEAN and talented scoring line

Zdeno Chara Loses Miller High Life Sponsorship

    Miller High Life

This series is sponsored by Miller High Life – The Official Beer Of You. Find out how you can get sponsored by Miller High Life

Some athletes think being freakishly big automatically entitles you to a taste of the High Life.

Turns out that’s a big N-O, Stretch Armstrong.

Oh sure, they get a handful of points for sheer intimidation factor. It’s a safe bet nobody steals Dwight Howard’s sandwich at the Orlando Magic’s pre-game meal. And pray for the dude who dares snake a Miller from CC Sabathia’s picnic basket.

But when it comes to landing in the High Life, a giant’s gotta earn his way in just like everybody else – and in the case of Boston Bruins defensive behemoth Zdeno Chara, two words come to mind.

    Access. Denied.

Chara’s near-decapitation of Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty was an instant YouTube classic, but not in the wow-that’s-so-cool-I-have-to-see-it-again way. This was more of a wow-I-hope-the-guy’s-still-alive video which, while still popular, doesn’t exactly leave viewers feeling better for having seen it:

See, Chara’s got skills – at 6-foot-9, he can block a shot from the fourth row, and the puck leaves his stick like a Roddick serve on caffeine. When he drops the gloves, he’s the Bald Bull to the NHL’s Little Mac – if you aren’t 6-foot-2 or taller, you’re punching that big “B” on his chest hoping to find a soft spot.

But upholding the High Life code of conduct takes more than natural vertical blessings and a cool name that begins with two completely random consonants. Care for your fellow man is key, and this is where Chara shrinks to the size of a baby lemur.

Now, we like tough. And it doesn’t get much tougher than the NHL. Missing teeth, bone-crunching hits, 90-second scraps where guys throw punches like they’re starting a lawn mower – these will land you reservations to the High Life Hotel.

Mashing a player into a cushioned turnbuckle so hard it knocks him out of the known universe, leaving him with a severe concussion and fractured vertebra? Grounds for a lifetime ban.

“Things happen fast,” Chara said afterward. “That’s not my style. I play hard, physical, but I never try to hurt someone. I hope he’s OK.”

So do we, Big Z. Because we have an invitation to the High Life waiting for Mr. Pacioretty when he’s up to it again. In the meantime, perhaps you can spend more of your energy reading up on the High Life code of conduct. Trust us, you have a LOT to learn.

I’m going to preface this by saying that it was a big win to get us on the right track and I’m glad that it happened. I also realize that NJ is in a “must-win” every game to make the playoffs.

However, I can’t help but point out how FLAT this team looked in the 1st 15 min of the game. Now, you’re at HOME, you NEED a win, you KNOW that the other team is going to be hungry & desperate, and you STILL come out with that kind of effort?

Again, I’m glad they turned it around, but if they hadn’t scored that goal in the 1st, would they have still continued to give the same kind of effort?

I’m certainly happy they got the W, but tomorrow is the HUGE matchup. We’ll see what happens. It just really concerns me that a team playing at home who has 1 regulstion win in the last 7 games would come out like that!!

  6. Bruins says:

What’s the deal with a bad record vs. teams in the NE? Only Ottawa has a worse divisional record than us.

  8. ELWOPPO says:

  9. pearson says:

i almost shit my pants with the bill doughtreve gif…..

i knew right away that dave lewis looked like hitler, but im suprised i didnt catch Claude Doughtreve sooner

  10. CCMGoalie says:

Bruins sign Marc Cantin, anyone heard of this kid?

    • Bruins says:

He was on the Spitfires when they won the Memorial Cup last year and his team this year wil probably win the Memorial Cup as well. Solid, nothing special. Solid young defenseman, nothing special. Can’t hurt to have more young d-men in the system.

  11. Gcole says:

Pavioretty tweeted about being at a movie. Theatre like 4 days after the hit, NO WAY IN FUCK you have a severe concussion and go to a fucking movie theatre not even a week later!! I never thought that it was faked but it seems obvious now, severe concussion is what Bergeron and savard went through, they weren’t having any fun that soon that’s for dam sure. And I’m not into medical stuff but I’m pretty sure a fractured vertebra is something you don’t go walking around with?? Fucking fake artists there, even the doctors are retards

  12. Bruins says:

    Good on Recchi.

  13. willisss says:

    Hnidy tonight?

    • Jefe77 says:

I’m hoping so. I want some bruised canadien hips and shoulders.

Hnidy’s greenlight special, right on Gomez or Cammalleri.

  14. ELWOPPO says:

Bruins need to make a statement tonight with a win! For thier confidence, fans, and management! Anything less than two points is unexceptable! Play hard and be smart, I expect a great physical battle tonight! Go B’SSS!!!!

  15. zamer says:

I just want the Bs to beat these fucken guys with a great effort from every one.Price is there only hope when it comes to winning games because there D is weak.

  16. Bruins says:

I got a look into the Habs gameplan for tonight and it looks like they plan on some retribution for Chara. Doesn’t look good boys.

  17. bruins5 says:

    should be interesting tonight

  18. G-Rant says:

    Lets GO BRUINS!!!!!!

  19. Gcole says:

    There’s a first period!

  20. Vince_M says:

What a great period!! Keep it up and remember “Don’t take your foot off the gas – or the Habs necks”!!!

  21. lucic crew says:

Thats how you play, play like that always and good things will come. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

  22. Haus says:

Now start beating their ass for good measure. I want some broken orbitals.

  23. ELWOPPO says:

Still lots of hockey guys, remember these guys are wiesels! They will try everything in the book to get back in this one! Stay focused boyzzzzzz!
    GO B’SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

  24. Gcole says:

Someone needs to get beat up in order for this game to be perfect in my opinion lol

  25. Haus says:

Mara far too chickenshit to want to fight anybody his size. Typical of him throughout his career.

  26. Gcole says:

5 on 3 shorthanded breakaway goal! LMAO! god dam they are getting their asses handed to them

  27. Bruins says:

Pacioretty must be rolling in his grave after that one.

If that was bowling, Bruins would have bowled a 300. Not one complaint.

  28. willisss says:

Where’s “et le dudes in my ass….that I love”????? Ole ole ole ole oleee

  29. Haus says:

Sooo…. What you guys think of the game? Ok, huh?

  30. Gcole says:

    that was an ass whoopin!

  31. Neely8 says:

I think I might have made a mistake?

    • lucic crew says:

Neely8 no worries just relax a little bit. Thats what the fuck im talking about woooooooooooo gooooooooo bssssssssss fuck you et la butt fag woooooooooooo.

    • Craig says:

you did, but we all get mad at our team once in awhile. Stay positive.

    • willisss says:

Go fuck yourself loser, jump on the douchewagon, not the bandwagon. You will not be missed

    • Bruins says:

I second willisss. At least make it look like you’re not hopping back on the bandwagon for christ’s sake. It’s been two games since you quit on the team forever. Fuck off.

  32. Caperfan says:

Now that is what we expect from our B’s, exactly what the doctor ordered. I think they could have dominated more as they could have been more physical but they were smart using their size, fore check and skated well tonight

Take this shit into the playoffs!!!!!!!

  33. ELWOPPO says:

I wish I was at that game!

  34. moast says:

What a joke of a game…couldn’t be more happy with the B’s play. Horton WTF! Hes on fiya! That line is a beast! Fuck the Habs!
Ahhh but Recchi spoke the truth…he can’t do that…call the cops!!
These homos have more to worry about than Recchis comments!

  35. Jefe77 says:

Hello, hello! Et le Blue!!!! Where are you?!?!?!

    Hahahahahaha!!!!

  36. Jefe77 says:

Call 911!!! The Bruins are in town.

    Love it.

  37. CCMGoalie says:

I LOVED that game… There was no real downside to anything, other than Kelly not getting a goal when he deserved one oh so badly.

    • Bruins says:

Yeah I think there was only one 2 minute period the whole game where the Habs had any kind of sustained pressure, and that was in the second when they were already down by 3. Pretty much as close to perfect as you’re going to get.

And I still think it was 8-0. Seguin got that buzzer-beater!

      • Haus says:

Ok, I was wondering who got that one at the end. I think it counted too.I was watching the clock and not the jersey number.

  38. backbruin says:

where’s that french faggot…ole…..ole are you there…..ole ole ole ole fk off…fk offfff!!!!ole

statement game period, nothing more needs to be said…bring those assholes on in three weeks!!!

  39. willisss says:

    Soo….anyone else hung over?

  40. Vince_M says:

What a spanking!! “Thank you Chara may I have another”!!

  41. TheBellEnd says:

suprised the Habs fans haven’t cried foul over Marchands hit…what a game last night, eh guys???…let’s hope we can keep this up come April 13th!!!!

    • #4 says:

That was a GREAT hit! Clean as a whistle.

B’s decimated the Habs last night, lets hope it was like sidewinder missle to the tailfin of a russian MIG sending that thing spiraling all the way down out of the playoff picture.

Nothing would make me happier after B’s Stanley Cup than the Habs collapsing epically and missing the playoffs alltogether.

  42. Bruins says:

All of our forwards are in double digits for goals except Thornton, and he’s having a career year with 9 goals anyways. No other team can boast that kind of depth.

  43. ELWOPPO says:

Please go on habsinsideout.com, than go to view comments under the first article.
    The frenches are going nutzzzzz!
Aparantly thier own fans are convinced thier not making the playoffs!

  44. G-Rant says:

How did that 7 0 pounding not merit its own thread on here??! GUYS!!?
    Lets keep it going B’s!!

    • jimmy50 says:

      Slacking!

    • ELWOPPO says:

      TRUE DAT!!!!!
ITs like everybody has forgot what we actually Accomplished on thursday night! Not me, Lucic Crew and I Have been talking pure smack and basically been glowing for the last Two dayzzzzz!!!!!! When the Bruins are kicking Ass Im in great mood, When thier losing I get depressed!!! Im I sick in the head?

I Ended a relationship with my girl of almost 3 years because of the B’s! And again with the girl before her! Girlz just dont get it? DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE BETWEEN YOU AND MY BRUINS, CUZ U WILL NEVER WIN!
These fuckers cost me two relationships, They better reward me with the cup!
      GO B’S!!!!!!

  45. ELWOPPO says:

    Devotion, Son!

    • TheBellEnd says:

i kid…i hear it, though…i’ve managed to convert my wife…she’s a huge B’s fan…but others in the past didn’t quite get it

  46. Bruins says:

Matinees with the Rangers are my least favourite games by far. They always turn into a snoozefest. Let’s hope the B’s give us alot of goals again. We still might face these guys in the playoffs.

  47. Pen says:

Anyone got a streaming link for this afternoons game?

  48. Gcole says:

What the hell is that Halloween costume Kathryn tappen is wearing??

  49. ELWOPPO says:

Fuck you matinee games! This team just cant win in the afternoon!

  50. Bruins says:

Some shitty ass reffing but the boys need to pick it up a bit anyways.

And can someone tell me what the hell Ryder is doing up on Bergy’s line?

    • ELWOPPO says:

Ryder is a 2time 30 goal man! 27 two years ago! He has to be our 2nd line RW! Marchand is awsome but I Think Julien wants it this way! Also Ryder is a BEAST in the playoffs!

    • hendrik says:

Ryder doesn’t fit on the 4th so they put marchand there, and they can’t just scratch him because we need him to produce in the PO’s…let’s just hope he gets hot at the right time.

  51. Bruins says:

Man, this is a boring game. Not surprised though.

    Rask has looked fantastic though.

  52. Bruins says:

I’ve lost respect for the Lightning and Rangers this year because of how much they dive.

  53. Gcole says:

This teams good at disappearing a game after a great game, they do this shit every fucking time

  54. Gcole says:

They go from a dominant 7-0 ass beating to getting shutout… Amazes me

  55. Bruins says:

I’m surprised this comment got through. I thought the Rangers would block it.

Can’t be mad when they give an effort like that the last 5 or so minutes.

    Lundqvist = overrated, Rangers D = underrated.

  56. Bruins says:

Neely8 quitting on the team forever again in 3, 2, 1…

  57. Bruins says:

Fuckin bullshit to lose on a blown offsides call that someone who didn’t know a thing about hockey could make. Rask was pretty much perfect today.

  58. Neely8 says:

Im done! This team sucks! Basically 3 periods and you cant score ONE measly goal? Wow?

  59. Bruins says:

    Told ya.

  60. Bruins says:

We outshot them 26-23 but they out-blocked us 29-8. That’s crazy.

  61. jimmy50 says:

Couple things from the previous post on the NYR game:

    1) Agree, matinee games are really getting old. Bruins never play with the same tempo as night games. Plus it always invites a “family” type atmosphere. Which is ok once in a while. But we the most matinee games every year out of every team. Plus I work weekends, lol.

2)Block shots, I am not sure how much scouting went into this game but how bout some fake wind ups, move to one side, then make the shot. It was so fuckin obvious when we were about to pull the trigger all game.

3)I said it before and ill still say it. Resign Ryder for 2-2.5 million for 1 or 2 years. That’s decent pay for a 3rd line winger who knows our system.

4)C’mon ref you have to make that offsides call!

  62. zamer says:

Win some lose some, need to score goals and creat them and win battles. Then theres times you just show up and hope for the best and today was one of those days get beat by a GOALIE,theres no excuse we just showed up but the last two games we were great.

  63. Vince_M says:

One good thing from this game. Rangers tied in pts. with the damn Habs now that they (Habs) got shutout again. Hopefully they are in a full fledge downward spiral out of the playoffs.

  64. Bruins says:

Some numbers for the last 8 games:

    – 1 point to clinch a playoff spot

    – 99% chance of taking the division, 76% chance of finishing 3rd, 22% chance of finishing 2nd, 1% chance of finishing 1st

    – 8 points to clinch the division; 4 points to be likely to take it

    – 14 points to be likely to be likely to take 2nd in the conference(about 60% chance if that happens)

    – Most likely playoff matchup in first round:
    MTL (36%), NYR (33%), BUF (18%), TBL (12%) Other (1%)

  65. Bruins says:

    Playoff Previews:

    BOS vs. MTL: 2-3-1, 3.67 GF/G – 3.33 GA/G

    • ELWOPPO says:

Not good, But thanks to the leafs we got Seguin! Who “Should” be our future 1st line center! Also remember if Savard’s season is over, His 4 million wont count towards the cap! So that will also help!
Good luck though to Saavy, Still my favaroite Bruin!

      • bergeronforselke says:

i’d rather have seguin as first line center a few years from now then savard…if development goes as planned. i love savvy but it would be better to spend time with family and not risk his life for hockey. good luck marc…the 4 mil helps too lol

  66. lucic crew says:

Take it easy svard be with your family, you will be missed. That being said lets get a win tonight boys. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

  67. backbruin says:

I don’t really care who we play in the first round but if i had a choice whom “not” too play it would be Buffalo! they scare me more then any other team and my prediction will be that they would beat philly in the first round!!! book it!

but in all honesty the rangers don’t bother me whatsoever.

  68. Gcole says:

the truth of it is, there is going to be NO easy opponent in the first round. and whats got me so confused here is that if this team has any chance at getting to and possibly winning the cup, shouldnt the first round be the least of their concerns???? play whoever in the first round, and if this teams not good enough to beat a team in the first round, then how the hell are they going to be good enough to make it any farther??

  69. Caperfan says:

I agree totally Gcole, I dont really care who they play in the first round either. If the B’s play with intensity and aggression they can beat anyone one of the teams in their conference. If they do not then they dont deserve to move on.

  70. Loooch says:

    any feeds for the game??

  71. Birdman2403 says:

When Hnidy is ready I would love to see him get a shot. McQuaid makes too many dumb plays. Brutal play on the first goal tonight. Why put the puck in the middle of the ice ?

  72. moast says:

I wonder if they could hit Bouhers chest anymore….no traffic in front. Need to bring there balls in the second

  73. Caperfan says:

Not much from the B’s in the first period boys. No body checking, no forcheck, not much effort and probably no win tonight. Unless this team plays with some emotion passion and aggression they are just another team. Better pick it up.

  74. Gcole says:

    Seguin looks awesome!

  75. Haus says:

Philly fans booing their team because of a tough loss tonight. They don’t deserve a team as good as they got the fairweather fucktards. No different than the majority here in Boston.

    • ELWOPPO says:

Congrates to Marchand on 20th goal!
take in consideration its his first year!
IM Almost positive he will be a 30 goal scorer at some point in his young career!

  76. lucic crew says:

    Beautiful boys GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  77. Haus says:

You guys should realize the regular season ended after the MTL game. Pretty much wrapped up the division that night. From here on out the games are just to stay fresh.

  78. lucic crew says:

I got to say i went on the habs site and you see 4000 post you come on here a couple come on to say yay. It looks like their passion kicks the shit out of ours. Well not for elwoppo and i and a few more you know who you are. We win a game where is everyone, habs win fuck the site blows up. Its frustrating to see no love here.

    • CCMGoalie says:

It’s cause every win to us isn’t like we just won the cup. We know there’s 82 regular season games we need to make count. I agree that we could step it up a bit and celebrate the games a little more, but we can’t get caught focusing too much on the games past when there are still some to play. I want a home berth in the playoffs. I don’t know about anyone else.

      • lucic crew says:

ccm i hear you but i got to disagree. To make a post takes two seconds of your time, from the time i came on this site i have seen many arguments fuck you im a bigger bruins fan then you etc etc, yeah well to me prove it and all im saying is show your love to the bs to me that is not asking alot. Fuck when the bs win i can’t wait to come on this site. Since i came on tonight what five ten people came on that is pathetic. Go on the frog site now that is pride, and it pisses me off when i come on the best site with my fellow bs fans and i hear fucken crickets. So to your answer your question whats wrong with showing love like its the playoffs i do and always will. GOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHA FUCKEN BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

      • pearson says:

who the fuck cares dude? i went out raging after that 7-0 game, not running to my computer to tell the internet how much i love the bruins

i dont think anyone here has lost interest…….. so…

well except neely8. get on his ass.

      • #4 says:

True fans dont run on here and overreact to a win or loss.

True fans come on here and stick with the team and stay objective/positive through the shit stretches like the last 1-3-3 stretch. Fags come on and say they quit watching the team forever then come back the very next game. True fans are level headed.

      • Haus says:

Agree 100%, #4. I haven’t posted on here as much lately, and it has nothing to do with people on this site. I’ve been fucking enraged lately listening to different people talk about the Bruins around here in the Valley. Someone actually tried to convince me that the Rangers game was every bit as big as the Montreal game.(Obviously didn’t take into account that the Bs pretty much wrapped up the division that night). I’m tired of fucktards saying that ‘they can’t put together a full 60 minute effort’, to which always respond “who in the league has this year, has put in a full game of balls to the wall dominating hockey”. They always say Philly or Vancouver, which is total bullshit; noone in the the parity driven NHL or just about any other league at any level in trhe world. There’s ebbs and flows in hockey, there’s momentum swings. I think when the Bs were down and out a few years back and people stopped watching they actually forgot what real hockey looks like.

      • Haus says:

That’s the best part of this site, most of the posters are Canucks and they are much more level-headed then the crossover Red Sox fans around here.

  79. pearson says:

so now that we’re in the playoffs, stanley cup or not, who is going to be the playoff hero? seguin looks to be making huge strides. so i vote him.

    • Bruins says:

If you think Seguin is getting anything more than 10-12 minutes a night in the playoffs (I know he’s been playing more lately), you just don’t know how Clode rolls.

  80. Bruins says:

We’ve owned all of the top teams in the conference this year.

  81. lucic crew says:

    Whatever pearson just whatever.

  82. Bruins says:

Looks like The Toronto pick will end up somewhere between 6-12 this season, before the lottery.

How about the roster next year. I never like to look forward to next year but hear me out. According to CapGeek.com the B’s have 6.344M in cap space available for next year based on this years cap. The big question is Savard of course.. But if he is done (God Forbid) there is another 4.007M making the space 10.351M based on this years cap.

    21…54

Remember those are based on this year’s lines!!!

The way I see it (without Savard) we will have 11-12M to sign Kaberle or anorther PMD, Marchand, bring up Caron @ 1.1M and/or sign a descent winger.

If Savard does play it’ll be 7-8M to sign Kaberle or a PMD and Marchand.

I’d also have to assume Recchi and Ryder are gone…

Either way, I think we will be in good shape next year. Get well soon Savvy and GO B’s

    • Bruins says:

      Lucic-Krejci-Horton
      Marchand*-Bergeron-Caron
      UFA-Peverley-Seguin
      Thornton-Kelly-Campbell
      Paille

      Chara-Kampfer
      Seidenberg-Kaberle*
      Boychuk-McQuaid
      Bartkowski

Resign Marchand, and then Kaberle too (if it’s at a good price). Trade Ference. Bring Caron up. Sign a scoring winger for the third line unless someone from Provy really looks good (Sauve).

If Kaberle is resigned, someone has to go, and it looks like Ference or Boychuk are the main candidates.

Seguin has looked great lately and he could really explode if put with Bergeron. I also would love to see a shutdown line with Caron up there as well though. Either way we can’t keep switching him around. He has to stick at either wing or center for the long-run.

I don’t like Paille as a regular and really like Kelly on the 4th line. This also gives us three aces for faceoffs.

Zero interest in bringing back Ryder.

      • moast says:

Zero interset in Ryder for sure….unless he scores a goal a game in the playoffs. Then sign him for 2 mil on the third line.

  85. Bruins says:

Could you imagine how good we’d be if we had a pre-Cooke hit Savard?

    Get well Savvy.

  86. Bruins says:

Our team will be a load to handle next year. Lucic and Horton own people along the boards and I think you’ll see Bergeron and Caron do the same thing.

  87. lucic crew says:

Soooo you come on this site to not show love for the bs, dont give them credit when they win, cause true fans don’t do that ok got it. Fuck i have been doing it all wrong i want to thank you for setting me straight. And haus and 4 surprised at you, you were one of the guys i was giving credit too, Oh well thats your opinion thats your opion.

  88. Bruinsfan17 says:

What about the bruins signing college FA stephane da costa? he is going to sign early this week. This guy is a sniper and can truly see the ice. The bruins should make a big push, could fill ryder’s loss in the off season

    • #4 says:

I dont know about Dacosta being able to fill in Ryder’s spot next year.

Off the top of my head Spooner-Arniel-Suave all have a better shot of filling in the 3rd line scoring winger role (My money is on Spooner unless they decide he’s still to small)

But DaCosta would be a great addition to a goal scoring challenged Providence team. He reminds a bit of Krejci only he can shoot the puck more. I bet PC has been watching I hope he makes an offer.

      • Bruinsfan17 says:

PC has been to many merrimack games and practices this season. Da Costa has vision and passing like savard but he is also a sniper and not afraid to shoot. he is a dangerous player

  89. Studlycodfish says:

Go Bruins, bring on the first rd, doesn’t matter who we play, you think that once the play-offs these guys won’t be remerbering what happened last year. I think that the boys will be playing lights out hockey as well as TT who will be our best play-off player CS for TT, you heard it here first. Horton with his first taste of the play-off hockey will be our best forward with Looch and Krejci being beasts as well, Chara playing mad shut down hockey, the rest is just filler boys. Bruins win the cup have faith!!!!!Go Bruins Go!!!

    • lucic crew says:

Good for you buddy i like your attitude.

      • #4 says:

lol LC I dont know what I said that offended you, I speak the truth.

Ive seen more people pull Neely8’s on here than I care to even count. After a while I started to tune out the overly positive/negative posts.

You know im a diehard, im here regardles the team could be 0-82 id still be here. Your a good fan LC, if you notice Im supporting the team through the thick and thin and I always spin a positive.

I go on this blog to scream “GO B’S!!” but i do that anyways, if you watched a game with me you’d see the excitement I have. On here its just a place to discuss show support and tell the bandwaggoners to blow it out there ass.

  90. lucic crew says:

Good for you 4 just getting frustrated i know your a fan thats why in my previous post i gave you credit. All im saying why so quiet when they win.

    • lucic crew says:

Oh ps don’t think i forgot our deal. Get a body part ready for a tatoo cause the bs are taking the cup. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

      • #4 says:

haha fuck! I already got it planned out. The B’s win I get a silohouette of Orr diving and a stanley cup with 2011 under it.

      • Vince_M says:

Don’t know if I have anymore room but for a Bruins Cup win I will find a spot!!

  91. Caperfan says:

fuck the talk about next year I want it this year. I waited 39 years for this and we need a cup now!!!!

    I’ll take next year to.

  92. Neely8 says:

Thier gonna break ur hearts people!
Just wait! This team is cursed! Dont u get it? Ive seen teams twice as good as the one we have this year and they failed! What makes u think this is our year???

  93. lucic crew says:

4 that would be a sick tatoo.

  94. moast says:

Neely8 – It’s our year because we beleive in this team…if you don’t then fuck off. Coming on here to preach that they will break our hearts is nothing but bullshit. I’m impressed with making it to game 7 in the last 2 years…not so happy about the Philly series but this is a different team. Any team can win on any given day…so take your head, put it in a paper bag and call yourself a Leafs fan you fucktard!

Lucic Crew – You know what, I give you a lot of props for calling people out on not being stoked on a win. I have been one of those people that don’t really post after a win because I am celebrating in my own drunken ways. I will toss up a post when they win because I have to balance out my negative rants with good ones. So, good on you to show everyone this as this, in my opinion, is a community of die hard Bruins fans and a few comic releifs (Neely8, Et le but, etc) Fuck them they are just haters as there teams suck.

Everyone else – GOOOOOOO B’S!!!!!!! The playoffs are going to be so fucking epic. I agree too that there will be a second wind with these guys and they will feed off of the guys that don’t get to be in the playoffs: Horton, Cmpbell, Marchand, McQuaid, Seidenberg, Kaberle. You tellin me that these guys aren’t ready to get a taste. Throw in the fact that Ryder, Recchi are playoff machines. Lucic, Bergeron, Chara, Krejci are all ready wanting to prove last year wrong. Thomas and Rask…..nuff said!!
That is why this is the year Neely8!!!!

    Bos over Mtl
    Bos over NYR
    Bos over PHI
    Bos over VAN
    GGGGGGOOOOOOOOOO B’SSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  95. spencer70390 says:

I say we rest up rex/looch who look a little banged up, and give mcquaid some time off before the playoffs so everyones ready to go. thoughts?

    • Birdman2403 says:

I agree, but it is a touchy thing between giving time off and getting out of the groove. 1 game each placed correctly in the schedule, that allows them 3 days off ! Put Seguin on the top line while resting those guys and see what he can do.

Get Hnidy in for McQuaid. I don’t think we go into full rest mode, 2nd still available !

  96. lucic crew says:

I miss the game cause of shit head work, oh well that the beauty of the pvr box. Lets get a win tonight boys GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! And neely 8 tried giving you the benefit of the doubt but you are on your own.

  97. lucic crew says:

    Lol vince

  98. #4 says:

DaCosta is in Toronto right now fielding FA offers. Under the CBA he would have to sign a multi year deal and could sign one similar to Hall/Seguin which carries a potential cap hit of 3.75 which means that BOS/PHI might be unlikely to sign him.

But Bos/PHI have been the 2 most aggressive in scouting him.

  99. moast says:

Anyone know if Campbell is signed past this year?
Im a little worried that Chia will be so preoccupied with getting Kaberle signed that he will fuck up a multi year deal for Marchand.
    Need Marchand locked up!!

  100. Bruins says:

I honestly have no idea. I don’t think it’ll be that high though. Wheeler got that much coming off two years of around 20 goals, 40 points, and he had to go to arbitration too. Only a one year deal though.

I’m going to guess between $1.5-2 million.

  101. KesselsBro says:

U guys are all geeks! Yes the Bruins are a good team but u got to be Mad if you think ur winning a cup this year! Van, Det, phy and Pitts are all better than u guys! U know it too! U guys sound like fools! And dont comment on the Leafs cuz I know were not good, im a realist! U guys otta try it? Good luck and hopefully u guys dont go to another game 7……O-3 in last 3 years! Remember?

    • KesselsBro says:

Also Luciccrew ur the biggest dummy on here! I read ur posts and the reason why nobody post after every win is cuz they know the Bruins are gonna fail them in the end! Ur not very realistic are u? Fucken loser u are! Grow up and stop jumping the gun!

      • Manitoba Fan says:

Fuck that lucic crew I got RESPECT for you and every other B’s Fan on here. Kessels bro I don’t know why your even here, not much to talk about with you own leaf fans. You guys finally realize you have nothing more to cheer about. Face it your team does this every year, fuckin sucks then tries to make that playoff push. And o ya congratulations on those two first round picks you got. What are they gonna be picks 25+, good for you guys. This draft is sucks and so does your yeam. You buy your box of waffles yet to throw on the ice come your final home game!!!Stay on you own site bud.

      • backbruin says:

hey kessels bro, the fact that you as a leaf fan are talking shit immediately makes any comment you have useless and idiotic….you can try and make yourself feel better by criticizing a team that obviously makes you jealous and burns you deep for what we got for that peice of shit kessel….but we understand, your jealousy oozes from your every letter that you type from those obviously disappointed hands…..it’s ok we feel sorry for you because we know deep down you actually thought you had a chance too make the playoffs…hahahaha

you poor pathetic fool, go back to your leaf site and tell each other”once again”that next year you may make the playoffs……because that’s the real joke here!!!

        wow these fools never learn!!

  102. moast says:

Anyone have a feed to the game and possibly know why old one nut kessel posts on here like he has balls?

  103. Bruins says:

Solid period. There’s a really good pace to this game.

  104. ELWOPPO says:

Not sure if its because CHICAGO is tired, But the Bruins were flying in that period! Wow!

  105. Gcole says:

Anyone see what the person on chicago bench did the Thornton?

  106. Bruins says:

Is Boychuk trying out for the Sox? What a sinker on that shot!

  107. spencer70390 says:

    p2p4u.net is always good

  108. ELWOPPO says:

Could have been 5-0 B’s! Keep it up boyz!

  109. Bruins says:

We’re wrecking the defending champs right now. What a game by the B’s so far.

  110. #4 says:

    KesselsBro = Neely8

B’s killing it GO B’s. Chara is on fire lately!

  111. Studlycodfish says:

Horton baby, nice goal, going to be the best forward in the play offs. Love how were owning the Champs tonite looking good !! Go Bruins Go!!!!

  112. Bruins says:

    33-10-8, .940 Save %, 1.96 GAA, 9 SO

  113. Craig says:

Watching some laffs hi lites, man they are waving pom poms. I quess this is their playoffs. Go job Maple laffs. HA HA

  114. CCMGoalie says:

Solid game tonight, Horton’s lighting it up lately. Love it. SICK move on Crawford to get by him. I’m willing to bet little Corey is still trying to wrench his neck back around straight after watching that one go by him.

  115. lucic crew says:

Thanks for having my back manitoba fan my respect goes to you too, Who cares what loser thinks again their not going to make the playoffs. Sweet win boys, thomas you the fucken man. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

  116. pearson says:

kesselsbro is right. we dont stand a chance against those mentioned teams………………
    …………..
    ……………..
    ……………….
    ………….
    …..
    …………
    ….not.

as long as we have chara and thomas, we arent going to be an easy out. its as simple as that.
