  1. Bruins says:

Every fucking time with these two teams. Habs are going to get destroyed.

  2. Bruins says:

If Minnesota picks up 1 or more points tomorrow, our pick is 9th, if they get 0, it’s 10th. Lottery could bum it up to 5th or 6th respectively, or knock us down 1 spot.

  3. lucic crew says:

Bring on the french frys im not scared GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!

  5. Bruins says:

It’s reassuring that our 5 best players are the ones who showed up for the season series vs. MTL.

We HAVE to watch out for Gionta though. He scored in 5 of the 6 games. While Price doesn’t have great stats against us, that’s pretty much all because of those two losses. He has a .947 S% vs. us in MTL’s wins.

  6. Gcole says:

Bring on Montreal! Fuck those assholes!!!

  7. Mentalwhale says:

    Bruins in 5, sure…

  8. Seguin>Hall says:

    Is pacipussy playing?

  9. Studlycodfish says:

I hope maxi pad comes back and BIG Z really hurts him this time fuck the dirty habs grrrr that team makes me want to puke, I am ready to fight someone all fired up! Go Bruins Go!!!

  10. ELWOPPO says:

Yes Pached-up-already will play at some point in series! Also Markov has began light work outs! So take it for what it is!!!

  11. moast says:

Anyone else watching? Peverly’s looking as good as the line of Marchand Bergeron Seguin. That could be a deadly line next year!

    • Gcole says:

Watched most of it. Not a bad game

    • lucic crew says:

I got rid of my centre ice like a dummy to save a couple bucks, don’t ask me why.

      • moast says:

Shitty…I just got the deal and while I cant see any televised games as I dont have an elaborate cable package, 90% of B’s games at $20 a month is a not bad deal.
Rask is owning out there today, the pad stack save was ridiculous. Nice to know that you have two playoff calibre goalies. This will be huge for them.
The Marchand Bergeron Seguin line looked like they could have some magic. Kinda small but faster and skilled. The Chicago Detroit game was an amazing playoffesque game today.

  12. Caperfan says:

Mike Camalleri stated on TSN lastnight that the Canadiens were 4-2 against the Bruins this year and had a winning record last year as well. He further stated that translates a birth into the second round of the playoffs this year. Pretty arrogant statement to make to say the least. I hope this statement makes its way into the Bruins dressing room real soon. This litle midget needs to eat his words and learn a lesson. If this isnt motivation for the Bruins in the first round I dont know what is!!!

    • Bruins says:

Nah, he just said IF they did the same thing in the playoffs as they did in the regular season they’d go to the 2nd round, which is true.

The B’s don’t need any extra motivation for this one.

  13. JRy says:

This new set up just makes my iPad crash so I barely go on this site anymore

  14. Gcole says:

    Is it Thursday yet?????

  15. willisss says:

I can’t focus on life right now

  16. goosegoose says:

Time to dominate the habs again boys

  17. CCMGoalie says:

This series will go down as one of the most anticipated and watched NHL Quarterfinal series in the history of the NHL, guaranteed.

  18. Bruins says:

I wonder what will happen to Z when he goes to Montreal? Someone will probably try to fart in his general direction.

Bruins in 4. This is going to be like ’09.

  19. Richardo says:

    Bruins in 5.

I think Price steals one in Montreal.

  20. ELWOPPO says:

dont think Montreal will have no motivation!
    1. We swept them last time they met us in the playoffs!
    2. We embarrassed them last two games in our building (8-6) and 7-0
    3. We killed one of thier players with a “Cheap Shot”

Dont think thier gonna be a cake walk!
Still think we win, But it might take 6-or 7 games!!

  21. North B says:

Game 1 is the most important.. The B’s need to destroy the Habs similar to the 7-0 game.. Send a message, the Habs will fold the tent and roll over in 4-5 games.. If the fucking Habs win game 1 this series will be a 7 game battle!!

  22. Vince_M says:

Love it, we are having an election and they were to have a French language debate on Thursday but moved it so it wouldn’t be the same time as the game.

Show’s that the B’ssss are more important than the election here in Canada and the government realizes it.

  23. Et Le But!! says:

Can’t wait for Thursday. My Habs will easily win this series 4-1. No problem whatsoever!! We will give you one game – just because you have home ice advantage. Not that home ice is much of an advantage for you bums anyways. 5 game series tops

    Game 1 4-2 Habs
    Game 2 4-3 Bruins
    Game 3 5-1 Habs
    Game 4 5-2 Habs
    Game 5 6-2 Habs.

    • lucic crew says:

We shall see who gets the last laugh kermit the frog. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!

    • Neely8 says:

If Montreal wins the series 4-1, I Will buy a Subban jersey and walk around in it for a week! U And me both know ur not gonna win the series 4-1, Come ON! Maybe 4-1 Bruins? Were to big, to strong, to good! OK U Little bastered you!!!

      • Bruins says:

You mean the Subban jersey you already own? Don’t think people have forgotten your betrayal.

    • willisss says:

I need to know somthing from you, and try not to act like a eurotrash douche bag…why is it that you, and all you french giggling cunts, not only take pride, but brag about getting unfair calls…take dives…ass like bitches…etc…are you awaree that there’s more to the game? How does that not give you shame? In all seriousness, I must know…how do you guys do it? Its the most pussy form of hockey

    • goosegoose says:

Et Le butfucker what are you smoking because I want some of it. Thomas is not going to give up 23 goals in 5 games.

  24. CCMGoalie says:

FUCK! Kampfer goes down with a knee injury in a Providence Bruins’ game against Springfield. Word is he’s done until at least the 2nd round, according to

  25. Manitoba Fan says:

I am a die hard Bruins fan and will always be no matter what but in my opinion its completely unacceptable to loose this series. I don’t care if it takes seven games, I just beleieve we have a much better team than the Canadians. In my opinion we are just to deep, but only time will tell. Keys to this series for me are our special teams and our fourth line. If soupy, paille and thornton can keep up this tempo and keep putting points on the board, I believe its lights out for the Habs.
    GO B’S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • lucic crew says:

I second everything you just said. Also would like to congratulate thomas for the all time save%, save of the year and eventually the vezina AGAIN. Some people dogged him earlier in the season, which should all come and apologise for that man and what he did. I would like to make the first apology, not to thomas never doubted you. Mine is to horton, i crucified that guy in the beginning, but i did make a prediction that he rips it in the playoffs. Moast was the one that said he rips it before that so good call moast. Aside from that lets fuck these french frogs up. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • moast says:

Thanks for the props but i was pretty hard on his case for a bit there but he has turned into a real Bruin down the stretch. He must be so stoked to go to the playoffs. I agree with both of you with what you said. Mainly Manitoba Fans statement that it is unacceptable to lose this series. Which it is.
        Go Bruins! B’s in six!

  26. lucic crew says:

Congrats on your baby goose and welcome back.

  27. hendrik says:

I just watched last year’s buffalo series and… wtf? We got rid of sobotka for a bag of pucks and then gave up a 2nd rounder for an older, worse players. Poor Vladi… 😦

  28. Gcole says:

wtf its only tuesday.. can they start early please?

  29. goosegoose says:

Thanks, he is already watching hockey, although I think its the fast movements and colors that he likes…got him a few bruins onesies and his uncle got him an baby ovechkin jersey (his name is alexander…)so lets hope he is the bruins first pick in 2028

  30. Et Le But!! says:

    Hey Williss,

In response to your post of April 12, 10.25 am – we do what it takes to beat you. That’s the difference between the poor bruins and the great hab teams. The Habs ALWAYS put out the supreme effort, balls-to-the-wall and no holds barred cliches when playing the bruins cuz we know that no matter what happens, if the game is either bit close, the Bruins will ALWAYS, and I mean FOREVER, end up doing something un-bruin like that will cost them the game. It’s a sure thing – just watch the series and you’ll see that i am right. Whatever it is, everytime we play the bruins in the playoffs especially, we are guaranteed that the bruins will do something completely out of character for them that they would not do against any other team. We have your number – your psyche with is fucked!!

    • willisss says:

so “doing whatever it takes to win” means flopping on the ice, faking injuries, and trying to draw penalties? come on man, dont lie to yourself…you guys in montreal have a soccer team, not a hockey team, and they are representing your home city in such pussy like fashion that i am embarrassed for you. how about supporting a team that can…i dont know…be men? take a hit…like a man? not be giant ass pussies every single game…dude the rest of your OWN COUNTRY doesnt even like montreal..AS A CITY. i get the fashion, i get how you want to be more euro and hip and gay and whatever else you guys do, thats fine…but play a different sport so you guys wont ruin and tarnish a perfectly good game that we all love…well hockey fans at least.

and by the way…remember when we swept your ole singing douche bags last time your “mighty habs” played boston in the playoffs? your argument is shit…so throw on your skinny jeans, gel your hair into a bro hawk, get your hot pink skin tight v neck shirt on, and join the rest of your ” wish we were in Europe, but we are still in shitty ass Canada” douche bag of fans, it what WILL be the last 4 games of your 2011 season….

dude…how does your ass feel after that

      • God is on OUR side!!!!!! says:

will you marry me williss? that was EPIC!

      • lucic crew says:

Yeah i was with you until your stupid comment about canada. Hmmm lets see how many canadians are on boston, better yet lets go down in boston history and see how many canadians have played in boston. This is why your a dick head when you insult those fuck heads, which good for you cause i hate the frogs too but when you insult canada you insult half the guys on this site. Your like that ignorant racist who fucks black girls. You praise the bruins which duh but don’t forget the canadian men in those jerseys, So you better give us some god damn respect. Surprised at the canadian people here not saying shit especially backbruin thought you would of said something for sure. Fuck it ill speak my mind to that ignorant prick. O CANADA AND GOOOOOOOOOOO BSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • willisss says:

        shut up

    • Bruins says:

So what’s the excuse for last series between these teams?

Habs like to go on about history like it means something now. In the last 20 or so years the Bruins are 6-4 vs. the Habs in the Playoffs. You can have your 20’s through 70’s.

I’ll give the Habs the benefit of the doubt that we always know what we’ll get though. Diving has always been a constant for you.

    • Jefe77 says:

7-0 is ‘doing what it takes’ to win after we broke your dumbass players neck who thought he could push Chara?

Do you remember that sweep Et le blue?? You posted on this site before every bashing the Bruins handed out to your stupid listless habs, and then you disappeared after every game.

In that recent 7-0 ass-handing he Bruins proved that the Habs have no guts, have no sense in sticking up for a player, and that they have NOBODY who can do anything about it.

      • Andy says:

Did we do something stupid in 2009, besides sweeping you pussies out of the playoffs?

“Bruins” said it best, you can have your 20’s-70’s. No one gives a shit about that!

  31. backbruin says:

you mean like 2009 when we had our way with you??? it’s ok to come to our site and tell us it will be a good series and you like your chances….but……you can’t tell us your not worried about being absolutely man handled which i hear the french like anyways!!! i have been watching this series for 36 years and hate the habs with a passion…..but would never jinx my team by going to an others site and dicking them with irresponsible rhetoric….

you guys should no better and respect this series as it should be….one of absolute history!!

  32. backbruin says:

I’ll be in a hot tub drinking heavily saturday night watching our beloved b’s feed the habs in every way possible!!!

  33. backbruin says:

    sorry thursday*

  34. pearson says:

playoff beards anyone? this shit is gonna get GRIZZLY

  35. bergeronforselke says:

bruins pick 9th in the draft. i say Ryan Murphy! check out his stats

  36. Bruins says:

Disappointed we couldn’t get into the top 8 because there’s 8 players I really like and then a big drop off, but I’m sure one will drop to 9th.

  37. spencer70390 says:

I agree hendrik! i miss sobotka and he would be great come playoff time. I would take campbell over him, but would rather Sobotka then kelly or paille, plus the kids young and may have some potential to grow offensively. off topic, but the blues have some pieces to be really good in 2 years

  38. Andy says:

We gotta get Murphy! This kid sounds like the PP QB, puck moving D that we need. Plus, when was the last time we drafted a D in the 1st round. It’s all been about center, center, center, except for Caron.

It looks like Beaulieu & Hamilton would be solid D, too, but don’t seem to have the offensive upside. Plus, it doesn’t appear that Hamilton will be there at no. 9.

We need a young, franchise D. If Chiarelli picks another fucking forward, I’m personally flying to Boston and will slit his throat!

Bruins, what’s your take, since you seem to have better knowledge than all of us on these kids? Who do you think would be the ideal fit? Don’t you think we HAVE to take a D? I’m all about Murphy this year…

  39. Bruins says:

I see the draft like this:

A clear top 3 group: Larsson, Nugent, Hopkins, Landeskog, and then a little bit of a drop off to Couturier at 4th.

Then there’s a very close group of 4: Hamilton, Strome, Huberdeau, Murphy.

And then unfortunately there’s a big drop off. Some guys are better than others but it becomes more difficult to really tell. Luckily there are a few defensemen worth taking at 9: Beaulieu, Siemens and Oleksiak. Beaulieu is more offensive, Siemens is more defensive and Oleksiak is a 6’7 240 monster that is pretty mobile for his size. I’d also consider taking power forward winger Brandon Saad there as well.

All that being said, I’m sure one of the top 8 will drop to 9. It only takes one team to like one guy more. I really want Hamilton but I’d be really happy with Murphy too.

    • #4 says:

I am hoping that Larsson can be this years Fowler and fall off by alot.

I think either of the Swedes Larsson/Landeskog will be the most immediate NHL Players out of this whole group.

Aside from that someone with a name like Strome is just bound to be good, thats a hockey name.

      • Bruins says:

Absolutely no chance of that hapening. I agree with the Swedes being the most NHL ready though.

  40. #4 says:

  41. UEDkop says:

Simulator has Montreal winning 3.71% out of 1001 simulations and Bruins taking the cup.

I like that site. I like the Bruins.

  42. Gcole says:

anybody got a time machine, i want to go ahead of time to april 14th 2011 at about 6:30 p.m. to start this fucking series already!

  43. averynathan says:

go bruins go hope you winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  44. marchmam says:

    Who’s going tommorow?

  45. Haus says:

The majority of Boston hockey reporters are picking Montreal.

  46. ELWOPPO says:

My Manager is a die hard Habs fan and he said he doesnt give the Habs much of a chance againts a much bigger Bruins team! Now thats a realistic fan! OFF TO WORK NOW SUPPORTING MY B’S JERSEY, HOPE THE REST OF YOU ARE DOING THE SAME! REPRESENT KIDSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! GO B’S!!!!!!!!

  47. Haus says:

    My prediction: Bruins in 7

    • ELWOPPO says:

Not even! BRUINS IN 5 Maybe 6! They cant contain us!

      • Haus says:

Its tough to win at their place, that’s my thinking. I say we win the first 2, take 1 of 2 up there, they take the next 2, then Bruins wrap it up at home. Believe me, I hope its a shorter series.

    • CCMGoalie says:

I’m with you Haus, but I do give our Boys the advantage at home so I’m calling Bruins in 6.

    • #4 says:

Id put my money on this

      GM1: Boston
      GM:2 Boston
      GM3: Maxipad comes back, Habs
      GM4: Boston
      GM5: Boston

  48. TheBellEnd says:

I haven’t been this nervous since…..since…..well since we played the fucking Habs last….there’s something about this matchup that always gets me going more than others….

  49. Vince_M says:

Tonight is the night my friends!! The BIG BAD BRUINS play the escargot of the NHL!! I can see Horton breaking out in his first taste of the real NHL season!!

On another note, I am overjoyed to hear it looks good that I can see the Bruins play here in Winnipeg next season for a game or two.

It’s all good in Bruin land!!

    • CCMGoalie says:

Yeah Vince_M, lots of talk in the NHL that once Phoenix gets bounced from the playoffs, I’m guessing first round, there is a deal in place that will send them to Winnipeg before the beginning of the next season. I’d be okay with it, just give those guys a crowd to play in front of, watching those games where it’s absolutely DESERTED is embarassing.

    • moast says:

Hey Vince, they could still call them the coyotes with the yote problem in Toba huh?! Or will they be the jets? Whats the word there?

      • Vince_M says:

Believe it or not but I had heard something about the team being called “Manitoba ____” no final name but a logo with a bear in it. I had heard from a few about the Manitoba thing but the bear part is new to me. Can’t have a bear, unless it is the Grizzlies as my son’s AAA spring team is the Manitoba Grizzlies. They can use our logo and I would even sell the naming rights (for the right price).

  50. manitobaSTU says:

Can’t wait to watch the game with my bud manitobafan and a few others. B’s in five. For the record, I’m a Canada guy and can’t stand the habs leafs or nucks. They can all suck me.

  51. #4 says:

Anyone else feel like they could play in the game tonight.

Im about to jump out of my seat at work and deck the flyers fan sitting behind me.

  52. #4: Marshmont Game WINNAH! says:

    GO B’S!!!!!

  53. moast says:

    Tonights the night.
    Bruins fans get ready.
Playing the arch nemesis that is the Habs.
This team will come together for the moast epic playoffs since 72.
So, I will leave you B’s bretheren with some words from the Hip that relate to every B’s fan as well as the newcomers to the playoffs:

“you said you didn’t give a fuck about hockey i never saw someone say that before you held my hand and we walked home the long way you were loosening my grip on bobby orr isn’t it amazing anything’s accomplished when the little sensation gets in your way!”

  54. goosegoose says:

come 7:00 let the blood bath begin!

  55. Bruins says:

Anybody else hoping this goes to 5 just so the Bruins can boo and heckle the shit out of Patchedalready?

    • ELWOPPO says:

Pached up already is out for the series! Also i hear “big” Hal gill is hurting! He’s Subbans 1st line defence partner!

      • Haus says:

If that’s the case that is HUGE. Gill has become quite a rock of a D-man, and maybe the only Hab I respect.

  56. Studlycodfish says:

I got pre game butterflys, I hate the fucken habs, bruins in 5 to start the train all the way to the cup!!! Horton will be our best forward, Big Z need I say more and TT will win the CS!!! Go Bruins Go!!!!

  57. Bruins says:

He’s out for the series? Hmm didn’t know that. I thought he could make a return later in the series.

Gill hurting would be a plus for us. He’s their only guy that might be able to somewhat contain Looch/Horton.

    • Jefe77 says:

Lets not forget Hal Gill is the incarnate Jolly Green Giant. I don’t think Massachusetts could be more embarrassed that he was such a giant pussy on the Bruins, and he committed New England High Treason playing for those fuck-sticks.

      • #4 says:

There was a quote on TSN today when Gil said he wasnt a B’s Fan growing up.

I always hated him I remember standing and cheering when Chara beat his ass in when Chara was a Senator.

  58. Jefe77 says:

“Before you go taking a walk in my world,
…you better take a look at the real world
Cause this aint no Mr. Rogers Neighborhood”

    Go Bruins.

  59. Et Le But!! says:

Bonsoir mes amis. Tonight’s the night we lay a beating on the bruins and lay to rest any thoughts you have of winning this series. Hang on to your dream of winning boys cuz once the puck is dropped all your worst fears will come true. Not only will the habs sweep you out of the playoffs, you will never even have a lead in the series. Can’t wait for the massacre to begin. Fresh bear tonight!!

  60. Gcole says:

Game three is the same time as my night class.. Can’t watch it. HAHA YEAH RIGHT! fuck you economics!

  61. HockeyEast says:

    Rancourt baby !!!!!!!!!!!!! Go B’s !

  62. moast says:

C’mon Kaberle we need more from you!

  63. Et Le But!! says:

    BYE BYE B’S.

  64. Whopperfoo says:

sucks about the goal but the B’s are playing pretty well. We’ll crack carey in the 2nd for sure.

Subban is a diving little prick.

  65. Gcole says:

Hard to get excited for a powerplay when they suck so fucking bad on them..

  66. Et Le But!! says:

God night Bruin’s fans. See you Saturday for your second loss. Ole ole ole, ole, ole.

  67. moast says:

Its hard for me to not go on a tangent right now about how fucking brutal Kabrle is with his no shooting etc and how the to line isn’t at thegame tonight but hey Im going to try and stay positive. They are getting pucks through but right at Prices logo, they are playing hard but the difference maker right now is Price…..Thomas looks shakey. Lets go in the third!!!
    Let’s go Bruins!!

    • Gcole says:

I don’t think kaberles doing anything wrong, he’s not a goal scorer, he’s been setting people up good it’s a combination of no one being able to score a fucking goal and price having a great night. Not what I was expecting though. They better score a goal atleast!

      • moast says:

Kaberle caused the first goal and then followed it up with a penalty. Shortly after, when the Bruins had total doination of the Habs end, they skated around and Kaberle just wouldn’t shoot. He’s come out of it a bit but yes your right, Price is standing on his head. Kinda easy when every shot goes into his logo. Nobody taking it in front of the net. Is Lucic hurt cause hes not on the ice tonight.
        1 goal guys c’mon!!!
        Let’s go Bruins!!

      • Haus says:

Kabs also hit Marchand with a breakaway and an open net in the first. Should be at least tied there. Even so, he’s had a few bad decisions in his own zone during changes.

    • Bruins says:

He’s terrible. There’s not much else to say. I’m not kidding about this either. Only player on the team I don’t like.

      • moast says:

I see it clearly now. Oh wait 2-0 wow. This is not the Boston Bruins….out hit by the Habs and shut out on home ice. The thing that scares me the most is that they have to play atthe Bell.

      • Haus says:

The Bruins played very well and Price stood on his head. Between Marchand missing at least 2 gifts and Lucic all around dragging the first line down with his terrible decision making, they should have been ahead. It gets that much tougher now; doable of course, but tougher.

  68. Haus says:

Lucic and Marchand= not ready for prime time, the reason for the loss.

  69. lucic crew says:

Well i look like a dummy , thanks boys. Going into montreal should be fun.

    • moast says:

The only person who looks like a dummy is Julien for telling this team to not respond to anything and to take it easy and be fucking passive. What happens when they do that? No inspiration, no passion = no goals and no wins. How many tmes did we witness this this season? Minus the two times they showed up to play like big bad bruins and they domintated = goals and wins.
They keep playing like a bunch of fucking pussies like this and they are fucking done. This is the playoffs and if you don’t show up then thats it. Who wants it more?
I know that people will comment on this and say but Price was a beast and we got lots of shots on him. Yah hey did, into the logo on his jersey, shots from the hash marks.
This is the playoffs and I will call it like I see it and there is no blind faith anymore.
Playoff contenders before the playoffs and now they don’t look like they want to be here.

      • Haus says:

Passive what? They dominated possession, territory, physicality, shots, scoring chances etc. What passivity?

      • moast says:

Hits, physical presence. Sure they controled the puck for the last half of the game but did fuck all with it. D2D passes with no traffic in front. Then when they did get a shot it was a relatively easy save for Price. I guess you are right, they dominated the goose egg on the score board.

      • Haus says:

You go ahead and be the only person in the entire world who thinks the Bruins were dominated physically tonight. Or didn’t have a shitload more scoring opportunities. Or didn’t crash the net hard. The top 2 lines each had a passenger winger, and neither ones’ name was Ryder.

  70. Gcole says:

    this team is bullshit

  71. Bruins says:

Don’t overreact boys. That was frustrating as hell though.

  72. Bruins says:

Gionta has scored in 6 of the 7 games vs,. the B’s this year. Potted 2 tonight. Maybe a defensive adjustment Julien?

  73. Caperfan says:

Here we go again, that fragile unsure team that we have seen all to much the past two years. Overall they did not play their game and allowed Montreal to dictate the flow. Better get this staightened out in a hurry. I will say it again we cannot go far without the power play. It is fucking brutal an everyone here knows it. The power play when you score can change the whole complexion of a game and ours is none existent!!!!!. this game as not good and now there is doubt in these fucking guys mind. this is a frustrating team to watch!!

  74. moast says:

HAus your kidding right? Marchand was one ofthe best players tonight. Shots on net, speed, trying to aggitate. Yah he got a penalty but at least he showed up and played with some fucking balls. A lot more than I can say for the top line of trying to be pretty with there delicate passes that were picked off 9 times out of 10. They really needed this one to put the seed of doubt in there heads, now Price is more than confident.

    • Haus says:

He had gift-wrapped chances to score and he shit the bed. Not ready for prime-time. Better show up to score on Saturday or get back to the 4th line where he belongs. Ryder buries that sitter.

      • moast says:

So he has chances and can’t score. Why pin point him and not Lucic, Krejci, Horton, Peverley, Chara? Why him?
Marchand had a team leading 6 shots and hes the scape goat fuck that. He showed up and hes a rookie.

  75. #4 says:

Tonight was brutal. I cant think of any other way to describe it.

Man. Chara was weaksauce to open the game, but Kaberle gave away the goal. I chock that one up to playoff jitters.

Price stood on his head and Marchand missed 2 golden opportunities add in a few bad penalties/non penalties and…………

Im drunk but im not happy wtf>>???

  76. Pen says:

big bodies to the front of the fucking net and stop trying to look for seem passes …use our size advantage for christ sakes…no one stood out for the B’s tonight

  77. moast says:

Anyway Haus I don’t want to get in a pissing match with you about the game. We saw it differently. Im just fucking pissed right now. I know its just one of seven but the first is really important in my eyes. I just hope that some people who are supposed to be “elite” players on this team show up to the next game. If they don’t and have to roll into Montreal down two……good night.I agree with you on Ryder though….he was pretty damn strong on the puck. If Peverley scored on his net drive, or one of Charas many bombs would have gone through or if Marchand scored on the breakaway it would have been different.
    Let’s go Bruins!!!!

  78. moast says:

Here is some food for thought as far as differences tonight:

    Habs 1 Bruins 14

    Habs 8 Bruins 2

    Blocked Shots
    Habs 19 Bruins 13

Hits were even Haus I will admit that to you. My bad, seemed like they had a lot less. But Marchand had the teams lead in shots, not something to bitch about.
Did I mention that Kaberle sucks balls and that i don’t think that Chia should throw away that 2nd rounder and go after someone who will shoot.

    • Andy says:

I think that says it right there, moast. Did you see the PATHETIC turnovers that we had tonight? And the blocked shots. I watched the NYR/WSH game last night. Does NYR have more talent than WSH? Of course not. Do they do everything in their power to block shots, get dirty, and give it all they have every second. Absolutely!

We could simply dominate MTL, but most guys tonight just played passive and didn’t have the “no one is going to come into our barn and beat us” attitude. Maybe it’s the system, maybe it’s the leadership (Chara was awful), but I think it comes down to HEART, GRIT, & DETERMINATION for most of the players out there tonight.

Of course we had our chances, but did you see how MTL just skated w/ speed and moved the puck? How many times did we have dumb turnovers or guys like Mcquaid just rim the puck without looking? That just comes down to being SCARED. Not playing with a purpose. And that is not how you win a Cup!

Plus, although Price did play well tonight, I thought he had a really quick CHEST!! Jesus! You can’t just shoot at the fucking CH!!

Anyway, I’m not here to say the ship has sunk, because it is only 1 game, but we all KNOW that MTL is going to come out guns blazing at home. Too bad we couldn’t do the same tonight.

We’ll see what happens tonight, but if we go down 2-0, good night!

  79. Andy says:

I mean we’ll see what happens on Saturday. Couldn’t come fast enough!!

  80. CCMGoalie says:

Here’s how I’ll break this down:

Bergeron: Pretty solid play up front and back in our zone, keep up the hustle and you will find the net.

Campbell: Great speed and battling in the corners, pull the trigger sooner and the puck’s in the net.

Horton: PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER! Don’t give Price the second to setup! Just put the fucking thing on net! Fairly solid game otherwise, LOVING the snarl this guy plays with.

Kelly: Loving your 2 way play. Need more Offense in that though.

Krejci: Where was your head tonight? A couple good plays doesn’t mean you can chill the rest of the night. Get your passing and Neo-esque calmness going again, it is missed.

Looch: Be more physical. I know you already are physical, but take it to another level and hit EVERYTHING that moves.

Marchand: Need to cash in on those opportunities. I attribute it to Playoff jitters, but solid play the rest of the night.

Paille: Keep hustling buddy, it’ll come.

Peverley: Keep winning those battles and using that speed, your line is going to do big things in the playoffs if you can keep up the pressure.

Recchi: You’re 43 years old, but are playing like a spry 37 year old. Hitting bodies and battling in front. Love it.

Ryder: You’re playing the team that left you for dead. STEP IT UP!

Thornton: Loving you throwing your body around big guy, keep pulling the trigger with that HEAVY shot and Price will keep bobble it glove-side.

Chara: Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot. Keep busting ankles and legs with that monster shot. Keep up the SOLID defense too.

Boychuk: Don’t pinch too deep, but I love your willingness to jump into the play.

Ference: Boy you make me nervous sometimes, but you’re playing solidly Defensively, can’t complain too much.

Kaberle: Better decisions and shoot more. Your game tonight was pretty weak.

Mcquaid: Keep throwing the body around, but you need to come away with the puck too. You can’t just hit the guy.

Seidenberg: Solid defensive night for you, underrated as always, but you block shots and knocked one out tonight that should’ve been a goal in the 2nd after Timmy got beat on a spin move by Plekanec. Nice work.

Timmy: STAY IN YOUR FUCKING NET! You handle the puck like a 15 year old virgin handles a dick. Either too rough or too soft, NEVER the appropriate pressure or timing.

Tuukka: Slow opening that door eh? Tough break being behind a Vezina winner, again, but stay warm and ready because if it looks like Timmy can’t handle the load Claude will give you the nod.

Claude: POWERPLAY, POWERPLAY, POWERPLAY! Your powerplay system SUCKS. I think you do a great job behind the bench in almost every area, except for this one. I don’t know what else to say here.

    • CCMGoalie says:

Sorry for the rant. Tonight was frustrating. But a thought did occur to me after the game. Maybe this is for the best. Our recent history with 3-0 leads isn’t great so winning 4-1 wouldn’t bother me a bit. Would’ve liked to have taken that one tonight though.

  81. ELWOPPO says:

Everybody relax! Its one friggin game? The B’s lost game 1 last year and came back to win the series! Montreal shut us down, they played the trap! Sat the Bruins will solve it, watch! And dont write us off when we go in thier building! If they can steal a game in our building, than we can sure as fuck steal one in thiers!!!!

  82. goosegoose says:

  83. #4 says:

My question is when IF EVER do the Bruins practice passing? The passing last night was pathetic.

Someone tell boychuck you dont have to flip the puck off the boards every damn time and put a freaking pass tape to tape. Same with chara and mcquaid. Only Kaberle who was terrible was capable of making a nice crisp break out.

Unless they get that fixed its going to be alongg series.

(This sounds familiar wasnt this the same exact problem 3 years in a ROW NOW!>?)

  84. Vince_M says:

The way I see the game is they had an off night and played pretty rough. The only thing that saved the Habs was Price. Pound the hell out of them and they will fold like some bad laundry. Get that shot off quicker and the goals will come.

It’s game 1 and nobody thought we would sweep the series.

  85. willisss says:

Didn’t the bs lose game one last year?

  86. Gcole says:

Maybe losing to start will do them some good as now they know they actually have to work their asses off

  87. goosegoose says:

they lost game one, but were on the road, we loose game 1 and come Tuesday we have 2 games in Montreal where we will win no more than one of them. guess we can hope for a 2-2 tie for game 5 in Boston and take it in 7.

  88. G-Rant says:

The wake up call was last night. The bear just got poked. Gonna come out flyin tomorrow. BRUINS!!!
